After you buy The Best Customs Broker Course, you may, but are not required to, register for a boot camp. While your registration fee includes any and all boot camps, YOU MUST STILL REGISTER SEPARATELY TO ATTEND A BOOT CAMP AND YOU MUST PROVIDE A $95 DEPOSIT WHICH WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE BOOT CAMP. You may not register for a boot camp online, via email, or over the phone. The only way to register for a boot camp is by overnighting a $95 (ninety five dollars) check or money order or cashier's check.

Specify on your deposit the date and location of your boot camp. See below for dates and locations.

Overnight the $95 deposit made payable to EILI to:

Gonzalez Rolon Valdespino & Rodriguez, LLC
Park Place Center, Suite 300
2911 Turtle Creek Boulevard
Dallas, Texas 75219

You have not registered and we will not hold a spot in the boot camp for you until we receive your deposit. Once you are registered, the instructor will return your uncashed $95 deposit to you on the first day of the boot camp. We will cash your deposit and keep the funds if you do not show up to the boot camp. YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR $95 DEPOSIT IF YOU FAIL TO ATTEND THE BOOT CAMP.  We cannot reserve a space for you if we have not received your deposit before the boot camp. SEND YOUR DEPOSIT AS SOON AS YOU REGISTER . Slots are filled in the order of deposits received. Space is limited. Boot camps may be canceled or rescheduled if too few students register.

As soon as we receive your $95 check, we will e-mail you and let you know that your space in the Boot Camp is guaranteed.

If you cannot or will not overnight us a deposit, then you can pay this $95 deposit with a debit or credit card. However, any deposits paid with a credit or debit card WILL NOT BE REFUNDED, whether you show up to a boot camp or not.

FAQ

What are boot camps?

Most of our students view our boot camps as vital to passing the customs broker exam. Our boot camps are not lectures, although they are led in a classroom setting by our acclaimed teachers, all who have passed the customs broker exam. Boot camps are all-day, multi-day (usually four days) boot camps that require students to participate, collaborate, and to work through and improve upon the subjects they are weak in. You attend our boot camps by getting away from your usual day-to-day schedules and distractions of family and work to concentrate with singular focus on passing the customs broker exam. Boot camps are not easy. You have to really work hard to enhance your chances of passing the customs broker exam, but once you pass, you'll be glad for your investment.

Can I study only your online material and not attend a boot camp?

Yes. We encourage all our students to attend at least one boot camp to increase your chances of passing the customs broker exam, but we always have students who do fine and pass the customs broker exam by relying solely on our online material and the weekly one-hour session with the instructor.

When and where are boot camps?

We hold boot camps in various cities throughout the year. Recent locations have included: Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, Cleveland, OH, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, Denver, CO, El Paso, TX, Houston, TX, Laredo, TX, Lexington, KY, Los Angeles, CA, Miami, FL, New York, NY, San Antonio, TX, San Diego, CA, Washington, DC, and Winston-Salem, NC.

See our schedule above.

Are there special instructions when attending a boot camp?

We start exactly at 8 a.m every day. Arrive by at least 7:30 a.m., especially on the first day. It takes time to find the building, park your car, get processed through security, and set up your books, etc. Class will not wait for you to set up.

Do not leave class early. Do not make flight reservations that require you to leave before 6 pm on the last day of the boot camp. You will not receive a certificate of attendance if you leave the class even one minute early.

Silence your phone. No calls, e-mails, or texting during class. Warn people of this.

Classroom temperatures are usually beyond our control and can fluctuate. Anticipate and prepare for the room being too cold or hot for you. Dress comfortably.

You may not use your laptop in class, but you will use it for homework after or before class.

Take as many as you can of the practice exams and submit your answers online at least two weeks before the start of your boot camp. Recent enrollees should coordinate with the instructor.

What do I bring to a boot camp?

The correct version of the written materials we sent you. Make sure that your HTSUS is mounted on the catalog rack. Recent enrollees should coordinate with the instructor ahead of time.

A silent calculator, a silent timer, many highlighters in several colors, pens, Number 2 pencils, and post-it notes.

Lunch. You will eat at your desk. Healthful is highly recommended. There probably will not be a refrigerator available.

One printed copy of five exams (not the answer keys) that the instructor will assign ahead of time. Let us know if you have not received the instructor's email telling you which five exams to print and bring.

Can I convince you to hold a boot camp in my city/town/company/organization?

We always welcome the opportunity to engage new boot camp sponsors. Contact us and we will provide you with our requirements and describe the benefits to you.
